Privacy Policy

CityBoost SEO (“CityBoost,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a local marketing agency operated by Alkalyne Solutions LLC, based in Montebello, California. We provide local SEO, website design, Google Business Profile management, advertising, and related services to home-service businesses. This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect through our website at cityboostseo.com (the “Site”) and when you communicate with us.

Information you provide to us

When you submit a contact form, request a free audit, start a conversation through the chat widget on our Site, or otherwise reach out, we collect the information you choose to give us, which may include:

• Your name, email address, and phone number
• Your business name, website, and industry
• The contents of your message or request
• Any other details you include in your communications with us

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies, including your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring pages, links clicked, and general location inferred from your IP address. We use this information to operate, secure, analyze, and improve the Site and our marketing.

We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to run analytics and advertising. The third-party technologies on our Site include:

• Google Analytics — measures how visitors find and use the Site so we can improve it.
• Google Tag Manager — a tag-management tool we use to deploy and manage the other technologies listed here.
• Meta (Facebook) Pixel — measures the performance of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram and helps us show relevant ads to people who have visited the Site.
• Reddit Pixel — measures the performance of our advertising on Reddit and helps us show relevant ads to people who have visited the Site.
• Microsoft Clarity — records anonymized session replays and heatmaps, with all text and form entries masked, so we can understand how visitors use the Site and improve it.

These providers may set their own cookies and receive information about your interaction with the Site, governed by their own privacy policies.

Defaults. For visitors in the United States, analytics (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity) run by default; advertising pixels load only after you allow them in the cookie banner. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, nothing beyond essential cookies loads until you choose. You can turn analytics or advertising cookies off at any time with the Reject button in the banner or the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer, through your browser settings, and through the choices described in Section 7.

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your inquiries and provide the services you request, including preparing a free audit
• Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site
• Understand how the Site is used through analytics
• Measure and improve our advertising, and show relevant ads
• Communicate with you about our services, where permitted
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as described below:

• Service providers. We share information with vendors who perform services on our behalf — such as website hosting, form and customer-relationship management, email and text-message delivery (HighLevel / LeadConnector), and analytics — who are permitted to use it only to provide those services to us.
• Advertising & analytics partners. Through the technologies in Section 3, Google, Meta, and Reddit receive information about your interaction with the Site to provide analytics and advertising services. We may also send conversion information to these partners server-side (for example, via the Meta Conversions API); this can include hashed identifiers such as your email address or phone number, used solely to measure and improve our advertising.
• Legal and safety. We may disclose information where required by law, to respond to legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of CityBoost, our clients, or others.
• Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Our use of advertising cookies and pixels (such as the Meta and Reddit pixels) may be considered “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. You can opt out as described in Sections 7 and 8.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the Text Message services.

If you provide your mobile phone number and opt in to receive text messages from us — through a form on the Site, by calling or texting us first, or by otherwise giving us your express consent — we use your number to send the messages you signed up for, such as replies to your inquiry, audit results, appointment reminders, and occasional promotional messages. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, and get assistance by replying HELP or contacting us directly. Full program details are in our SMS & text messaging terms.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the Text Message services that enable us to deliver messages to you.

You have several ways to control analytics and advertising:

• Cookie banner — choose Reject or open “Cookie preferences” in the footer to turn analytics and advertising cookies off on this Site; the choice is remembered on this device.
• Google Analytics — install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• Meta (Facebook) — adjust your ad preferences in your Facebook and Instagram account settings.
• Reddit — adjust the personalization settings in your Reddit account.
• Industry tools — use the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info) or Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org) opt-out tools.
• Your browser — block or delete cookies, and use a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which we honor as an opt-out of sharing as described below.

California residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose
• Request access to or deletion of your personal information
• Request correction of inaccurate personal information
• Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising
• Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your rights

To exercise these rights, email us at hello@cityboostseo.com. We will verify your request before responding, and you may use an authorized agent. We also treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid request to opt out of sharing for the browser on which it is enabled.

We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy — for example, to respond to your inquiry, provide our services, and meet our legal, accounting, or reporting obligations — after which we delete or de-identify it.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

The Site may link to third-party websites and services we do not control. This Policy does not apply to those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
